Spot of the Month - Purpose of the Program

To recognize and reward Madison County citizens and businesses for the beautiful/ neat/ orderly landscaping that enhances the beauty of Madison County.

Guidelines

  1. For each month of the year one residence and one business will be chosen by the KMCB board of directors. The board welcomes and encourages nominations from community members.
  2. The property being nominated should have drive-by appeal, and meet all city/ county codes.
  3. The properties will be photographed and written-up for newspaper articles and for future advertisements.
  4. Winners will be presented with a certificate and a sign will be posted in the yard of the residence and on the property of the business.

Nominate Your Favorite Spots

If you have a favorite spot, you may nominate it by contacting Rae Kubiak at 936-348-3591. (Please be prepared to give the address of the property, and who owns it. If you can send a photo of the property with an explanation of why you wish to nominate it that will be even better. All nominations will be considered by the board of directors.)
